This privacy policy explains how Redesigning Health comply with new UK data protection law and follows confidentiality guidelines issues by professional bodies. This privacy policy was developed and updated in September 2018.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Redesigning Health collects information from you during the initial assessment and this includes your first name and surname, telephone numbers, addresses, email addresses, any health information relevant to the service been used and date of birth. Your personal information is used to provide you with my services and to improve and extend the services for future clients. Consent is always asked to use this information as part of your record for monitoring while you are receiving an intervention from Redesigning Health.

Consent Form

During the first session we ask you to sign a consent form for us to keep a record of this personal information and if you change your mind, you can withdraw this consent at any time. This will not affect or change any aspect of your care or the service that you are receiving from Redesigning Health.

Who we share your data with

Sometimes your data may need to be shared with other health care professionals involved in your care such as your General Practitioner, any Hospital Consultants or family members. If this is necessary, Redesigning Health will comply with UK data protection law on data sharing.

How long we retain your data

Redesigning Health will only keep your data for long as it is necessary and will comply with UK data protection law on how long your personal data needs to be retained.

How we protect your data

Redesigning Health provides technical measures to secure your data such as computers/phones having password and username issued to secure your personal information against any unauthorised processing, destruction and damage. If we receive calls from third parties, Redesigning Health will verify the identity of individuals that may need access to your personal information. Use restrictions and anonymisation of your personal data whenever possible.

When you visit Redesigning Health’s website “cookie” technology is employed to make the experience as easy as possible for you.
