
Julie delivered some training at my practice on how we can encourage patients to live healthier lifestyles such as giving up smoking, losing weight and reducing their alcohol intake. I was impressed by Julie’s professional approach to training and how we can prescribe brief lifestyle advice interventions to patients during their appointments. Julie motivated me and the rest of the team to implement this approach in our consultations with our patients!
I was very sceptical about how lifestyle changes could help me lose weight as I have struggled with my weight for many years. Julie, changed my mindset on my eating habits and increased my understanding of how lifestyle changes such as ensuring I eat a variety of food, sleep well and avoid turning to food when stressed or bored could help me lose weight and keep it off! I feel so much better and enjoy a much better quality of life. My health conditions which include high blood pressure and anxiety are all improved, in fact I feel like I have my life back. I never thought that I would ever feel this good again!

Julie visited me and my 8 year old daughter to help with changing her fussy eating habits. After a couple of sessions with Julie, we noticed a change with her approach to trying new food. Ella is willing to try new food and loves helping me in the kitchen.
