
Every client I see is individual and unique, therefore I work with you and your families to personalise your sessions to embrace change and gain a healthy lifestyle or how to cope with long-term conditions. The first session will focus on understanding your issues and how initial targets for change can be identified. Most sessions will last for one hour or longer to suit your needs and can be flexible to suit your requirements. I recommend twelve weekly sessions but the number and duration of sessions can be adapted to suit your requirements.
As a Health Psychologist I’m interested in changing people’s behaviour. I use an evidence-based practice approach to help change client’s behaviours. Methods used include behaviour change models and cognitive approaches which help change mindsets and thoughts about health behaviour.
